From the Director: Tammy Baggett - Summer is one of the busiest times of the year at Durham County Library. You will find a host of activities for children, teens and adults at any location you visit. If high gas prices have you considering a "staycation" then you should consider Durham County Library as your destination place. From puppet shows and gaming tournaments to author visits and book discussion you will find something to help your "staycation" be a memorable one. I hope you will join us for our summer reading kickoff events being held throughout the library system on June 17 and 18. Such events are made possible by Durham Library Foundation, Friends of the Durham Library and Durham County. Come out to your favorite library location and celebrate!
