These new resources are made possible by a $100,000 grant from the American Library Association and the FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ) Foundation, as well as the library’s community partners: Local Government Federal Credit Union; BetterInvesting; North Carolina Secretary of State, Securities Division; Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at North Carolina State University; North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority and cfnc.org; and Self-Help Credit Union. Partners and learning materials were carefully selected to give library customers high-quality, unbiased investor education.
