North Carolina Collection Subject File Headings

Durham County Library's North Carolina Collection has one or more folders of materials on each of the topics listed. Types of materials include: newspaper and magazine clippings, pamphlets and brochures, programs from various events, reports from government agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations, and much more.

All of the materials focus on the city and county of Durham. While most items date from the early 1980s when the Collection began, earlier times are also represented.

The files are housed in the North Carolina Collection librarian's office. See the librarian to request use of the materials during regular North Carolina Collection hours: 10:00-5:00 Monday-Thursday, 2:00-5:00 Friday and Saturday.
