    Family Support Network of North Carolina

    Provides information about state and national services for people with disabilities and chronic conditions. Although services for children are emphasized, agencies serving adults are included. There is a link which enables parents of a disabled child to find a peer mentor. Agencies with foreign language interpreters are listed under the services section. It is maintained by doctors and provides a disclaimer on each page that this is not a substitute for medical care from one's physician.

    MEDLINEplus Health Information is a service of the National Library of Medicine. This site provides a lot of information aimed at the consumer including information on diseases and health topics, wellness, drugs, and associations. There are also links to medical dictionaries and directories, including substance abuse treatment centers, hospice care and hospitals. Has link to information in Spanish; hay información en Español.
