ABC-CLIO E-book Collection
Contains a large collection of ebooks covering American history and world history, as well as history books on more obscure topics, such as the history of sports, fashion, food and scientific discoveries. There are also many books that discuss what life was like during certain time periods in different countries, including recipes. There is also a small multicultural and gender studies collection.
Academic Search Premier
Use this database if you need full-text articles from scholarly journals. Subjects include art, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, linguistics, literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies and many more.
African-American Poetry
Nearly 3,000 poems written by African-American poets in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
American Poetry
Over 40,000 poems by more than 200 American poets from the Colonial Period to the early twentieth century.
American Slavery: A Composite Autobiography
A collection of the life histories of former slaves in the United States compiled through nearly 4,000 interviews with ex-slaves.

Business Plans Handbook is a collection of actual business plans compiled by entrepreneurs seeking funding for small businesses throughout North America. For those looking for examples of how to approach, structure and compose their own business plans, the Handbook presents many sample plans taken from businesses in the manufacturing, retail and service industries -- only the company names and addresses have been changed.

CQ Researcher Online
Explains both sides of controversial issues in the news and gives reliable facts to let you decide for yourself how you feel about a topic. These are the same articles which appear in the print version of CQ Researcher. This database will also generate its own citations in APA, Bluebook, Chicago Manual or MLA format.

Credo is a collection of hundreds of reference books on many different subjects. The collection includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesauri, atlases and books of quotations including full color illustrations and maps. Credo will generate APA, MLA or Chicago Manual citations.

Daily Life Online
This database provides coverage of history, geography, social customs, family life, leisure, arts, food, clothing, religion and holidays of over seventy countries from around the world dates include the 4th century CE to the present. This is a good source if you are doing a paper about what life was like during a certain time period or you need to know about customs or foods for another country in the present day.
English Poetry
Essentially the complete English poetic canon from 600 to 1900. Over 165,000 poems by more than 1,250 poets drawn from nearly 4,500 printed sources.

Foundation Directory Online Main Library Only
The Foundation Center's database is one of the primary resources for grant seekers. The database can be searched by specific fields, or can simply be browsed. It is geared to grant seekers who are affiliated with non-profit entities. It is not set up to assist individuals seeking grant funding for personal projects.

Similar to the Foundation Directory Online, this database is devoted exclusively to foundations that fund individuals (who may or may not be affiliated with non-profit entities). Funk and Wagnall’s New World Encyclopedia
This encyclopedia includes the full-textof over 25,000 articles in many subjects.
Gale Virtual Reference Library
full-textreference books for the arts, education, environment, medicine, religion, science social sciences and more. Includes a translation tool that lets you translate any article from English into Spanish, French, Japanese, simplified Chinese, Italian, Portuguese or Korean.

Health Source: Consumer Edition
Provides access to nearly 80 full text, consumer health magazines, including American Fitness, Better Nutrition, Fit Pregnancy, Harvard Health Letter, HealthFacts, Men's Health, Muscle & Fitness, Prevention, Vegetarian Times and many others.
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
Provides more than 400 scholarly full-textjournals focusing on many medical disciplines, and provides abstracts and indexing for over 500 journals. Also includes integrated results from Clinical Pharmacology (which replaces USP DI: Volume II, Advice for the Patient) and access to Stedman's Medical Dictionary.
Heritage Quest
A resource for census data, family records and local history. The collection provides access to every extant U.S. federal census, as well as a multitude of family genealogies, local histories, tax lists, city directories, land and probate records, birth, marriage, and death records and more.
Hoover's
Hoover's is a business research platform that allows you to search U.S. and international company listings by industry, size, & geography to build lists, create marketing plans, conduct competitive analysis and raise funds.
Image Search
Allows you to search for articles with images - including charts, photos, maps and illustrations from different EBSCO databases.
Kids Search
Search through many encyclopedias and magazines in one place. You can search by lexile level under "Detailed Search." There are also materials available for teachers and homeschool parents.
Learning Express Library
Provides online classes for the SAT, ACT and GED preparation. It also has practice tests with scoring for all of those plus the ASVAB, high school AP exams, graduate school entrance exams, nursing, real estate, firefighter, cosmetology, police officer and more.
Legal Information Reference Center
Contains thousands of legal forms. The full-text legal reference books are provided through Nolo, the nation's oldest and most-respected provider of legal information for consumers and small businesses.
LISTA
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) database provides coverage on subjects such as librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. LISTA indexes nearly 600 periodicals plus books, research reports, and proceedings. With coverage dating back to the mid-1960s, it is the oldest continuously produced database covering the field of information science.
Literary Reference Center Plus

North American Women's Letters and Diaries

Student Research Center (SRC)
