North Carolina Taxpayer Service Centers Internet
The North Carolina Department of Revenue has offices throughout the state. The people who staff these offices offer a variety of services ranging from providing North Carolina tax forms to answering questions.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program Internet
The VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally, $50,000 and below) people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers sponsored by various organizations receive training to help prepare basic tax returns.   The schedule for tax assistance at the library can be found in our calendar.  The schedule and contact information for appointments at other VITA locations is on the Community Reinvestment Association of North Carolina website.
